IT AUDIT ONLINE COURSE FOR
SUPREME AUDIT INSTITUTIONS
The Government of Malaysia is organizing an IT Audit online course for officers from six (6) countries from 12th to 15th September 2022 consisting of participants from the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of Bhutan, Cambodia, Jordan, Lao PDR, Pakistan, Philippines, Samoa and Zimbabwe.
The IT Audit online course will be conducted by the National Audit Academy in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) through which the Government of Malaysia wishes to share its development experience and expertise with other developing countries.
The objectives of this IT Audit online course are to provide an understanding on the fundamental principles and process of conducting IT Audit, enable the participants to understand and review the IT controls as well as to share knowledge and experience on subject matter and also to establish professional networking among participants.
The MTCP IT Audit course has been conducted since 2007, this being the twelfth series. A total of 242 participants from SAI in Asia, Africa, the Oceania and Central America have attended this programme since 2007. It is hoped that this programme will further enhance bilateral relations and collaborations among participating countries, especially in the field of auditing.
